Felipa Burke is a wife, mother, and entrepreneur living in New York City, New York. While she has enjoyed a long, successful career in banking and finance, she has always been dedicated to maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Before relocating to New York in 2018 for her husband’s job, Felipa Burke lived and traveled throughout Europe. She attended high school and earned her degree in Economics in Lisbon, Portugal, where she grew up. When it came time for her Doctoral program, however, she spent time in London and Germany. The Quantitative Economics program was split between the London School of Economics and Rheinisch Friedrich Wilhems Universitaet. Through her education and travels, Felipa has developed and maintained impressive language skills. She is fluent in Portuguese, her native tongue, as well as Spanish, German, and English. Additionally, she has a working knowledge of French.
After completing her education, Felipa Burke moved to London, where she spent most of the first 15 years of her professional career. She settled into the banking industry, where she worked in sales and solutions in several managerial positions. She worked with prominent financial institutions such as Goldman Sachs, the Royal Bank of Scotland, and the UK Asset Protection Scheme. These positions built upon her economic foundation and allowed her to develop her skills further.
While Felipa Burke is dedicated to her professional career and development, she is also careful to take time for herself. On two separate occasions, Felipa chose to take time away from work to invest in personal priorities. In 2008, she enjoyed a leave of absence spent doing charity work, taking a cooking class, and traveling the world. This revitalizing time allowed her to jump back into her career with a fresh mindset. Additionally, in 2016, she took another two years away to be a stay-at-home mom to her two young daughters.
In 2018, however, she jumped back into the professional world as an entrepreneur, helping to found Pego LLC. Based in the United Kingdom, Pego supplies workplace hygiene monitoring systems to businesses. Felipa continues to act as the director of Pego, putting her managerial and leadership skills to good use, helping the company grow and thrive.
